From 28th to 31st October 2024, Commissioner Dr. Wamalwa Dennis participated in the Organizational Development and Systems Strengthening Workshop organized by Jinsiangu at their offices.
The workshop aimed to enhance the capacity of intersex-led organizations by equipping participants with skills in governance, financial management, strategic planning, and sustainability. As the lead person on intersex matters at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), Commissioner Dr. Wamalwa engaged with intersex persons, sharing insights on institutional growth, policy advocacy, and resource mobilization.
This initiative aligns with the broader efforts to empower intersex persons and strengthen their advocacy structures for legal recognition, inclusion, and access to essential services. The Commissioner reaffirmed KNCHR’s commitment to supporting intersex organizations in advancing human rights and social justice.
